Hans Kraus book slideshows
I have two Hans Kraus book slideshows coming up this spring. The first will be at REI in West Hartford on Thursday evening, May 22. The one after that will be on a Saturday night in late May or early June at the venerable climbing shop, Rock and Snow, on Main Street in New Paltz, NY. (I'll provide more info on timing and driving directions.)
I love giving these slideshows -- and yes, of course, I love getting out and talking about my book, Into the Unknown: The Remarkable Life of Hans Kraus. And I love when people buy the book. But it's more than that. I wouldn't have labored away for all those years, squeezing in writing at crazy hours after finishing a full day at the office at my corporate job, if I wasn't incredibly fired up by the message of Hans' life and the example of someone who lived on this planet determined to make a difference and have a whole heck of a lot of fun while doing so.
